Purely for a bit of fun we decided to produce our own year book of images of all the artists, including the support, that have played at Empty Rooms during 2009. Now having this wonderful 48 page colour book in our hands we thought other people might also be interested in a copy. OK it won’t win a Pulitzer prize but it sure has some nice pictures!
The book is available in Soft back, Hard back with dust cover and Hard back with image wrap and is available online only. They are printed to a high quality and on demand by Internet book publisher Blurb and we hope to have a sample copy at our gigs for you to preview, if we can prise it out of Mike Trotman's hands.
To preview some of the pages or to place an order please select the book cover on the left.
Please be aware that your orders will be dealt with directly by Blurb.com and neither Empty Room Promotions or DJHimaging are able to correspond with regards to these orders.
Just to say, Saturday night was outstanding. The Bowmans were as good a supporting act as we've seen and the Wilders.....well you were right, hanging on to something solid was vital. Keep it up and thanks
Many thanks for the show last night. Both the Bowmans and The Wilders were top notch and a great start to 2009.
We saw the Bowmans last week with the Bittersweets in Bedford and liked them there, but thought they were even better in Tingewick. The Wilders were great too - there's just not enough fiddles and banjos in modern music.
Thanks for another great show on Saturday. Both Amy and Brian put on good performances and we were particularly impressed with Brian's passion, energy and sense of humour.
I just want to thank you (and all the others) organising such a brilliant show last Saturday when Justin Townes Earle came to Buckingham. On the night I was blown away by his personality and his maturity. I know that he's had a hard life, which has obviously given him many deep and dark experiences from which he can now delve into as inspiration for his writing. Along with Cory, who was the perfect accompanist, they made such a superb sound and even after 1hour 45minutes I still wanted more! I hope you can get him to return some day?!
Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed Diana Jones on Saturday. Very impressive.
Would just like to say thank you for a great gig last Friday the whole evening was fantastic, I have been a fan of Carrie pretty much from the start of her time with Chip this was my third time seeing her this year!
The quality has been really high this year and we've enjoyed all the gigs so far.
Just to say the 100th Birthday gig was fantastic. We really enjoyed it. Hope you will book Carrie again.
Thought I would just drop you this message to say thanks for the fantastic evening at the Radcliffe last Friday Chuck was wonderful proving there is more to him as an entertainer not just a great singer/songwriter . Thanks and keep up the good work.

I was seeing Sam for the third time in as many visits to the UK and I was wondering if the wow factor for me would be there, well it was and in spades, highlight of the show if highlight is the right word was the back to back readings of Broken Fingers and Angel which was very very powerful also as Merton mentioned his thanks to the audience and time spend with us was great.
Also a honourable mention to the support Krista Detor who made the most of the Radcliffes fine Steinway singing a number of songs from her CDs including a wonderful song from the Darwin Project called Clock of the World, a wonderful evening keep them coming Mike
Just to let you know how much we enjoyed the Bernie Marsden CD launch - another fabulous evening in Buckingham thanks to Empty Room Productions!
Just to say that I thought that the James McMurtry and Slaid Cleaves gigs this week were both absolutely stunning.
Was at Tingewick gig - first time I've seen Fred Eaglesmith. Thought he and his band were fantastic - great songs and a real hoot - had me laughing all evening. It's such a delight to see talented performers in such an intimate setting (must have been around 50 in the audience). Love it that they have no egos and didn't mind giving their all for such a small crowd. Bob Harris (who? - in joke from the evening) needs to get Fred on his show!
Excellent gig with Eilen on Saturday, and I hear she is coming back next fall (their words) to tour.
I take it you have an option.
Thanks again for amazing show last Saturday from Eilen Jewell
I just wanted to say thanks for another great year of gigs in the Buckingham area. Anyway – thanks again for all you have done for us music lovers in the Buckingham area. You have given us all a valuable outlet for good music and I know that it is much appreciated.
Thanks again for organising some very special gigs this year, we feel privileged every time we see an artist we have never heard of before, and love getting to know new music (to us anyway!).
Hello Mike, just to say thanks for your efforts in producing some great shows in the past year.
Thanks for laying on all these shows. I really do appreciate your hard work and effort. It's so much more pleasant to head out to Bucks rather than into the metropolis. There were a lot of great evenings and next year looks like being a good one too.
Thanks again for some great gigs in 2009 and I've already got some Richmond Fontaine tickets for next year.
They also more than hold their own against other gigs I've been to this year – Felice Brothers, M Ward, Lucinda, Unthanks, James Yorkston, Elvis Perkins etc, etc. All at supposedly grander metropolitan venues, but without the unique qualities of an Empty Rooms gig!
That's a great looking line-up for 2010. We'll be there for several of them. Thanks for all you do. Have a lovely Christmas
